Deborah Sims McCoy is a mother and a grandmother. She is a United States Army veteran and a retiree of an institution of higher education. Deborah is on a mission to make the most of her post-retirement years, aspiring to lead a life of diligence toward those things which are of eternal significance.

She is a native of Hartford, Connecticut and credits her childhood Sunday School lessons and her grandfather’s spiritual guidance as the foundation for her enduring faith in God; which sustains her to this day, in her service as a lay-person in the Body of Christ.

Deborah’s efforts to put her spiritual gifts to use have presented many opportunities for her to serve in a variety if ministry capacities; as a teacher, baptismal assistant, altar counselor and care pastor, to cite a few.
